Most of the rules you'll encounter here at Roleplay Hut are those set by game masters, pertaining to their individual threads. With that being said, there are ten fundamental rules that must be upheld within all boards of the forum.
Rule #1: Thou Shalt Not Spam
So what constitutes 'spam' exactly? Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited messages indiscriminately, often in bulk. Like anyplace on the internet, forums can prove a successful breeding ground for spam should it be left unchecked. If you encounter spam in any form, please report it immediately.
Rule #2: Thou Shalt Not Troll
Trolls come in many shapes and sizes, but our main concern are those that seek to induce chaos. Thread derailment, and the deliberate provocation of members will not be tolerated.
Rule #3: Thou Shalt Not Flame
The main concern here would be flame wars. Intelligent debate is fine, and disagreements happen; With that being said, there's no need for things to ignite into a full out flame war. If things get to that point, we ask that you settle it in private.
Rule #4: Thou Shalt Not Double Post
Use the 'Modify' button instead. It's there for a reason you know!
Rule #5: Thou Shalt Not Abuse The 'Report' Feature
It isn't there for petty squabbles, or because you don't like someone; it's there to help you help the staff deal with rule breakers quicker and more efficiency. Don't be afraid to use it, but don't use it against people either.
Rule #6: Thou Shalt Not Be A Bot
"Hey, we don't serve their kind here!" -Wuher
Leave your droids outside!
Rule #7: Thou Shalt Not Procreate Through Means Of The Internet
A bit of sexuality and/or nudity in a roleplay is one thing, but flat out cyber sex is another. This is a roleplaying site, not an MMO.
Rule #8: Thou Shalt Not Post Illegal Material
This is probably a no-brainer, but our host doesn't allow illegal material on its servers.
Rule #9: Thou Shalt Speaketh English
This is an English speaking site, and so all posts made on the main boards should be done so in English to insure everyone can participate. Non-English languages are of course acceptable in private messages, or in private groups.
Rule #10: Thou Shalt Have Fun
Perhaps the most important rule of all, have fun! Remember: if you aren’t having fun, you ain’t livin’!
